Boldmere Community Stadium
Sutton Coldfield, United Kingdom
Formerly: Church Road, The Trevor Brown Memorial Ground
The most striking feature is the playing surface itself; the grass is replaced by an artificial pitch, a 4G or 3G Kunstrasen that has become the standard for the football club that calls it home.
Inside the perimeter, the facilities are modest but functional. A covered stand runs along one side, offering shelter to the approximately 230 seated spectators, while another 400 can stand under cover. Before that, it was the Trevor Brown Memorial Ground, honoring a former chairman, and before that, simply Church Road. The club, Boldmere St. Michaels F.C., was founded in 1883, but the stadium’s own story is more recent, particularly the upgrade to the new changing rooms and the pitch installation completed prior to 2024.
