College Park Center
Arlington, United States
It is an arena built for basketball and volleyball, and the pictures show exactly that: a hardwood floor, red seats, and a court marked for college basketball. The playing surface is suspended maple, the standard for NCAA and WNBA venues, and the lines on it are sharp and clean.
College Park Center opened on 1 February 2012 at 600 S. Center Street, Arlington, Texas. It sits on the campus of the University of Texas at Arlington, and the Mavericks men's and women's basketball teams play there. The building is LEED Gold certified, a fact that does not appear on the scoreboard but is part of what it is.
The Dallas Wings also call it home for the Women's National Basketball Association. A game between the Wings and the Washington Mystics in 2025 drew 6,251 people, a number that sits comfortably below the capacity for a sporting event. Prior to 2012, UTA basketball played at Texas Hall, and the move to this arena was permanent; there have been no former names for the venue.
