The Domo de la Feria does not look like a typical sports arena. The arena has served León for decades, originally opening as the Auditorio Municipal de León. Recent renovations have focused on the playing surface, installing a shock-absorption system to meet international standards for basketball.
It serves primarily as a home for the Abejas de León, the local basketball team. However, the future of the venue is uncertain. With plans for a new arena, the Domo de la Feria is said to be scheduled for demolition once the replacement is ready.
