The Empower Field at Mile High gets its name from the altitude.
The scoreboard above the entrance is the tallest in North America, installed during a 2023 refurbishment that also added cashless concessions and new suites. Before that, the pitch used a hybrid grass system; since 2015 it has carried natural grass, a blend of Kentucky bluegrass and perennial ryegrass.
The capacity is 76,125, with an attendance record of 76,868 set in 2015 during a match against the Cincinnati Bengals. The venue has hosted other events, including a women's professional football match in March 2026 that drew 63,004. It is also the home of the Denver Broncos, who play in the National Football League.
