Estádio Torquato Pontes

The club exchanged its old central land for the construction of this new stadium , which opened in 1985. The move shifted the team from Avenida Buarque de Macedo to the neighbourhood of Vila Farinha, and the site has remained theirs since.

It is a modest structure, built without the pretence of permanence.

It currently hosts matches in the Campeonato Gaúcho Série B, known as the Terceirona, and youth competitions. The playing surface is natural grass, though the capacity is a matter of opinion: Wikipedia lists it as 15,000, while Europlan Online and Sofascore place it at 12,000.

The ground does not appear on the list of venues for the 2014 FIFA World Cup. A recent incident in the parking lot did not change the shape of the place.
