Gateway Center Arena
College Park, United States
The Gateway Center Arena sits on the edge of the Georgia International Convention Center campus in College Park , Georgia. It opened in November 2019, built as an expansion of the existing convention centre. The partnership behind it was between the city and the Atlanta Hawks basketball club, which meant the arena was fitted for the NBA G League from the start.
It is a compact space, holding 3,500 for basketball games, though the room can be stretched for concerts. The hardwood floor is the standard for a G League venue. Construction began in February 2018, and by the following autumn, the College Park Skyhawks were playing their first game.
The arena has housed several teams since its opening. The Atlanta Dream of the WNBA arrived in 2021, while the Atlanta FaZe for the Call of Duty League played there from 2020 until 2025.
It is not to be confused with the Gas South Arena in Duluth, which hosts the Georgia Swarm of the National Lacrosse League . The Gateway Center Arena has never been known by any other name. The official address is 2330 Convention Center Concourse, placing it firmly within the event district.
