Hala Sportowa Anilana

The building at ul. Sobolowa 1 does not look like a temple to sport. It is a flat, two-storey block of concrete with pitted brickwork and a small canopy over the main doors.

Inside, the space is defined by its floor. It is not grass or sand, but a synthetic taraflex surface laid over a wooden subfloor, designed for handball, volleyball, and basketball.

Long before it was a venue for youth tournaments or a home for a men's handball team, it hosted concerts. Bands like Kult and Acid Drinkers played here in the early 1990s.
