Hala Widowiskowo-Sportowa BOSiR

The Hala Widowiskowo-Sportowa BOSiR sits on ul. Juliusza Słowackiego 2 in Bartoszyce, Poland. The facility opened in 2020, built with City of Bartoszyce funding and support from the Ministry of Sport and Tourism. It stands as the only indoor sports hall of this size in the town, distinct from the outdoor Stadion Miejski im. Kazimierza Górskiego. The hall holds 297 spectators on wooden parquet seating around a 50 x 30 metre main court. It has hosted national team training camps for handball and volleyball, including sessions in 2021 and 2022. The 2023 Polish Masters Handball Championship finals took place here, along with Bartoszyce Fight Night MMA galas and youth tournaments across several sports. BSMS Bartoszyce, which plays men's handball in the II liga, uses the hall for official league matches. Klub Siatkarski Bartoszyce and various youth teams also train there. The building has never carried a different name or sponsorship title since opening. The hall sits in the city center. It does what it was built for and has done so without interruption.
