The hall opened its doors in 2016, a project completed by Mirbud S.A. after work began in the spring of 2013. It was named after Jerzy Wojewódzki, a teacher and social activist who passed away in 2018.
Inside, the space is defined by its oak parquet floor. It is suitable for basketball, handball, volleyball, futsal, and table tennis. A lift was added during a major modernization completed in January 2021, a renovation that also saw the replacement of the parquet floor and upgrades to the electrical and ventilation systems.
