Haleon Aréna
Levice, Slovakia
Formerly: Športová hala Levice, MŠH Levice
The Haleon Aréna in Levice does not look like much from the outside. It stands apart from the football ground — the Futbalový štadión Levice, which holds seven thousand people on natural grass. Inside, the space is tighter. The capacity is two thousand two hundred and fifty, a figure confirmed by the Slovak Basketball Association.
The hall is used primarily by BK Patrioti Levice for basketball, but it also hosts volleyball, futsal, and handball. It is not a single-purpose venue. It was formerly known as the Športová hala Levice and, for a period, as the MŠH Levice, a name that reflects its status as a municipal sports hall.
What distinguishes it from the outdoor stadium is not the crowd size but the proximity. It has hosted boxing events as well as ball games, but the attendance records for those fights are not part of the public record. The naming rights were acquired by Haleon, which gave the building its current title, but the structure itself remains the same.
