Hoima City Stadium

Hoima City Stadium rises from the red earth of the eastern outskirts. There is no traditional street to find it, only the Mparo Division, a name that marks it on the map without giving a number. The main club, Kitara FC, is already there, having moved from the old Kigaya ground to this larger space. They played a friendly on the opening day, winning 1–0, a small victory in a much larger project.

The structure is new. It was built to host the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations.

The scale is the only thing that matters here.

There is no website of its own, no history of former names, no past to reflect on. It is a blank slate, built for a future that is almost here.
