Imus Sports Complex

Imus Sports Complex is a good deal more than a basketball court. That track is not a decorative afterthought. It tells you the ground is not a pure football venue, but a multi-purpose oval where the local community might gather for athletics as often as they do for a match.

Inside, the floor is hardwood, which is standard for the Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League (MPBL) . The team that plays here, Imus Bandera , has been known by other names in the past, including Imus SV Squad , but the ground itself has kept its simple title. The capacity is small, around 1,000 seats, which keeps the experience close. There is no corporate naming rights deal written on the building, so you are still looking at the City of Imus Grandstand and Track Oval , a name that refers to its dual purpose rather than a sponsor. The city government manages the facility, and they have been working on the power supply to keep the air conditioning running in the heat.

It is not an isolated fortress; it is part of the town.
