Jonavos sporto arena

The Jonava sports complex is defined by its split character. Kūno kultūros ir sporto centras is painted above the entrance, marking a facility that opened in February 2017. The two share the same address, but they belong to different eras.

The facility handles basketball and volleyball indoors, but the football club plays its official matches outside, on the natural grass.

Construction of the complex was not linear. Work began in 2010, but the timeline stretched past 2017 due to funding issues and a fire in 2015. The indoor arena was built by contractors UAB 'Fima' and UAB 'LitCon' , with architects from UAB 'Projektų centras' . The cost came to approximately €9.4 million, a figure that covered the wooden parquet floor inside and the sports hall capacity of 2,200. The football stadium itself saw a major reconstruction completed in 2023, raising the spectator limit to 2,580. Before that, it sat at 2,000. The original structure dates back to the late 1980s, though sources disagree on the exact year.
