Karagaq Sports Hall

Karagaq Sports Hall in Peja does not pretend to be anything other than a municipal hall. It sits within the city park, and the name of the venue is the same as the name of the park itself. Basketball and handball are the regular tenants, with KB Peja and KH Besa Famgas using the parquet floor, while concerts and boxing tournaments fill the rest of the calendar. The capacity is 2,500, a figure reported by the EuroLeague website and Grokipedia, though some local sources stretch it to 3,500 when they need to. The hall is not new; it has seen KB Besa play its home matches before the current side took over. There is nothing to say about when the building was raised or the roof was replaced, because the records are too thin. The wooden floor is standard for the sport, and the heating system is part of the building. The hall is not a landmark, but it is an indoor sports venue in Peja that can hold a crowd, and the town uses it whenever it can.
