Stadium
Kėdainiai Arena
Kėdainiai, Lithuania
It is a place built for basketball, though the surface inside is wood, not the synthetic rubber found in many newer halls. Construction started in 2012, and the doors opened a year later, funded by the local fertilizer works, AB Lifosa.
The main tenant, BC Nevėžis, moved in from the Sports School in Vilainiai. It holds 2,200 for a game and 3,000 for a concert, though the difference is just a matter of where they place the chairs. Smokie played there in 2016, and the youth festival LIDL-MKL Žvaigždžių diena still uses the space.
It is simply the arena, built to last and to hold the games.
