Lyngby Stadion

Lyngby Stadion The track was installed in 1973 and renovated in 2005, but the 2013 rebuild removed much of it to expand seating for the Danish Superliga side.

The ground was established in 1949, when the Lyngby-Taarbæk Municipality purchased the land on Lundtoftevej. It has never carried a sponsor’s name, a rarity in modern Danish football. The surface is natural grass, and the stadium has hosted UEFA club competition matches, including fixtures against Sparta Prague and Rangers, while the senior Denmark national team has never played an official match here.

A major rebuild is currently planned for the same site. Designed by C.F. Møller Architects , the new stadium is expected to open in 2028. The project is financed through a mixed-use development model, including the construction of 185 student apartments, 42 senior apartments, and a municipal health and motorik house. The total cost is not yet disclosed, as it depends on revenue from property sales.
