Mohammed Al-Hamad Stadium
Hawally, Kuwait
The Mohammed Al-Hamad Stadium sits in Hawally, a district that has belonged to the same club since 1960. The ground has stayed with them, carrying the name of its first manager, Mohammed Al-Hamad, after his death in 1980.
The pitch is natural grass. The capacity sits at 22,000. That project, designed between 2019 and 2022 by Dar Gulf Consult and Populous, promised a 30,000-seat FIFA-certified facility with an enclosed West Stand for the Kuwait Royal Family, but construction has not yet started.
This is the only ground in Hawally where the club plays, and it has hosted matches that mattered locally and regionally. The 2014 AFC Cup Final ended here, with penalties deciding the winner, though the attendance record for that tournament was set elsewhere.
