Olivarez College Gymnasium

The Olivarez College Gymnasium sits on Dr. A. Santos Avenue in Parañaque. The capacity is a matter of interpretation; one source counts four thousand, another three, and the college’s own records lean toward five.

It is the home of the Parañaque Patriots in the Metro Manila Basketball League (MPBL) and the Olivarez College Sea Lions in the university circuit. It has also held the attention of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA), hosting games for the San Miguel Beermen and the Alab Pilipinas squad.

The building has no single name that sticks. It is the Olivarez Coliseum, the Pablo R. Olivarez Coliseum, or the gymnasium proper. Construction dates are absent from the records, though the college itself was founded in the late 1970s, and the gym has been in use for leagues since at least 2008.

There are no attendance records to speak of, no legends attached to the roof trusses.
