Mlaz Sports Hall

The hall sits in the quiet of southeastern North Macedonia, a small town where the road from Skopje turns before it gets far. It holds a thousand people, a number that feels right for a place that does not shout. There is no record of when the doors first opened, and no need to invent one.

Inside, the air is different. The local club, RK Mladost Bogdanci, plays here. They have worn many names over the years—RK Mladost 1977, Akademija Mladost—but the hall has never changed its own. It has simply been Mlaz Sports Hall, a name that does not appear on any grand banner but is known to those who watch the ball move across the court.

Once, the team stepped onto European stages, travelling in 1996–97 for the EHF Cup Winners' Cup. No one stayed behind for the final match, and no attendance record survives for those games. The hall does not keep such accounts.

It is not a place for national finals or concerts. It is not a monument. It is a room with a roof, where a few hundred people gather to watch a game. It is enough.

There is no website for the hall, and no need for one. The facts are simple: a capacity of one thousand, a location in the municipality of Bogdanci, and a history written in the daily movement of the players. That is all there is to it.
