ŠRC Grana-Klaka
Zagreb, Croatia
The ground does not sit alone. That is the first thing you notice before you settle in.
It opened in the mid-1970s and has not changed its name. The mayor handed the renovated centre back to the city in 2016 after a six-million-kuna project, but the work did not bring floodlights. If a match starts after sunset, the players rely on the grey light of dusk. That is a problem for the evening qualifiers for the Noćni hakl streetball tournament, which have become a regular fixture here.
NK Dubrava played the second half a man up in their best season, the 1993/94 campaign in the Croatian First Football League (1. HNL). They finished 17th and were relegated. The capacity is a matter of interpretation. Some lists say 1,000 spectators, others say 2,000.
The finals of the Zagreb County Football Cup (Kup ZNS) have been held here, and the International Memorial Tournament "Oluja 95" keeps the pitch busy in the summer. There is no record of a single-match attendance that stands out from the rest. That is the reality of the place.
