Stadio Enzo Ricci

The Stadio Enzo Ricci sits on Piazza Risorgimento in Sassuolo.

The most significant structural change occurred in 2005, when the four-lane running track was removed and the benches moved closer to the pitch. Following Sassuolo’s promotion to Serie C1, the main stand (Tribuna) received new seats, and the terrace (Gradinata) was reconstructed, doubling its capacity from 800 to 1,600. The renovated venue was officially inaugurated on January 21, 2007. The stadium was named in 1983 after Enzo Ricci, a local doctor and club patron.

U.S. Sassuolo Calcio called this ground home from its opening in 1972 until 2008, when the senior team moved to Stadio Alberto Braglia in Modena upon promotion to Serie B. In 2013, with promotion to Serie A, the senior team moved to Mapei Stadium – Città del Tricolore in Reggio Emilia. Currently, the stadium is used by Sassuolo's youth team (Primavera) and the women's team (Sassuolo Femminile), which plays its Serie A Women's matches there. It also serves as a training facility for the club.

The capacity sits at 4,008 spectators, all seated on natural grass. The ground has hosted notable events, including the final tournament of the EAFF Amputee Football Champions League in September 2024, which was the first time the event was held in Italy. It has also hosted Italy U20 international matches, including games in the Torneo '8 Nazioni (Eight Nations Tournament) against Germany U20 and Czech Republic U20. It regularly hosts Coppa Italia Primavera (Under-19 Cup) matches for Sassuolo Primavera. On June 30, 2021, it hosted the Campionato Primavera 1 TIM Playoffs Final, where Empoli U19 defeated Atalanta U19.
