VANDER Arena
Krosno, Poland
Formerly: Hala Sportowo-Widowiskowa MOSiR
The VANDER Arena sits at the end of ul. Bursaki 29. While the football club plays its matches at a separate ground a few streets away, this building handles the basketball.
The complex dates back to 1951, but the sports hall inside was not completed until December 2003. The exterior looks utilitarian, but the interior has been treated with care. Players compete in the Orlen Basket Liga.
The capacity is flexible. The permanent stands offer seating for 1,690 spectators, but the floor space allows for extra chairs to be brought in. When those temporary seats are added, the room fills to about 2,500.
The name VANDER Arena is a recent addition, adopted in July 2025 after a sponsorship deal with a power tool manufacturer from Rzeszów. Before that, the hall was known by its official Polish title, Hala Sportowo-Widowiskowa MOSiR. The branding change does not affect the game; it simply sits on the scoreboard.
The parquet floor itself was replaced in 2016, a significant investment for a local club.
