WIN Entertainment Centre
Wollongong, Australia
Formerly: Wollongong Entertainment Centre
It sits at the corner of Crown and Harbour Streets. The place opened in 1998, taking its name from the local television network, though it was once just the Wollongong Entertainment Centre. The crowd calls it The Sandpit .
It is not a football ground. This is a box for basketball, boxing, and netball. It is a multi-purpose shed with a capacity of 5,673, though the seating can be shifted into nine different modes. The record attendance of 5,839 was set in 2005 when the Hawks took on the Sydney Kings.
It has hosted the 2015 Netball World Cup and world championship boxing. In November, it was announced that the venue would host all matches of the 2026 Wheelchair Rugby League World Cup.
