Match report
The Cayman Islands played out a 0-0 draw against Dominica in the CONCACAF Nations League, League B - 1, on 25 September 2026. Neither side could find a breakthrough in a match that ended with fewer chances than either team would have liked.
The first half saw yellow cards fly before the interval. Troy Jules picked up a booking in the 19th minute for the hosts, while Joshwa Campbell followed in the 23rd. By half-time, Christopher Reeves and Triston Sandy had both been cautioned for Dominica.
Substitutions came thick and fast after the break. Eustace Marshall and Triston Sandy came off for Cayman Islands in the 61st minute, with Sebastian Martinez joining them 12 minutes later. Dominica brought on Gunnar Studenhofft, Elijah Seymour and Jordan Bonilla all in the 70th minute. Zachary Scott and Javid George came on for the hosts in the 82nd and 84th minutes respectively.
Cayman Islands had more possession at 53 per cent and registered 103 attacks compared to 86 for the visitors. Shots accuracy sat at 25 per cent for the hosts with two shots on target from five attempts, while Dominica managed 28 per cent accuracy with five shots on target from 15 attempts. Neither side created a big chance, and the goalkeeper was called into action five times for Cayman Islands against two saves for Dominica.
The result leaves both sides with one point from their opening fixture. Cayman Islands have lost three of their last five matches, including a heavy 4-1 defeat to Gibraltar in June, while Dominica have won just one of their past five games, beating Anguilla 1-0 on 21 September.
Two more yellow cards arrived late on, Marcus Bredas in the 86th minute and H. Hew in stoppage time. The match ended with the hosts making 33 clearances to the visitors' 23, and the game finished with the points shared.
