About the player
Kade came through Hertha Berlin's academy after joining as a boy at Kladow, and made his Bundesliga debut for the club in February 2022 against RB Leipzig while still a teenager, though first-team chances there stayed limited to four appearances.
In August 2025 Kade returned to Germany, joining FC Augsburg on a contract running to 2029. He has continued to progress through the German youth ranks, having already collected caps from U16 level upwards, including eight appearances and two goals for the U19s. He scored his first goal for the U21s in April 2026, in a European Championship qualifier against Greece. Back in 2021, his performances for the U17s were recognised with bronze in the Fritz Walter Medal.
Since his move to Augsburg he has had to manage further fitness issues, including ankle trouble in September 2025 and a calf muscle tear a year later. Kade's numbers at Basel suggest a player who found his footing away from Berlin before bringing that form back to the Bundesliga.
