About the player
Adenis Shala's senior career began at Vëllaznimi before a string of moves took him to 2 Korriku, Feronikeli, Ferizaj, Gjilani and Trepça '89. At Feronikeli he was on the books when the club won the Kosovo Superleague in 2018–19, though he made only one league appearance that season.
The move to Škendija in 2021 gave him the stability the earlier years lacked. He stayed three seasons, and the spell was capped with the Macedonian First League title in 2024–25. At international level, he was named among the substitutes for Kosovo's U21 side for a Euro 2019 qualifier against Norway in June 2017, without adding a cap.
In July 2024 Shala moved abroad for the first time, joining Nasaf Qarshi in Uzbekistan on a free transfer and signing an 18-month contract. He has already got off the mark there, scoring in the Uzbekistan Super League, including a goal against Neftchi PFK. A left winger by trade who can also play through the middle, the switch to Central Asian football marked the biggest step yet in a career built on steady climbing rather than one defining leap.
