A. White

Amelia White arrived at professional football by a winding route. She spent a season with Wexford FC in the Irish Premier League and later joined SV Blau-Weiss Berolina Mitte in Germany.

Once she returned to the United States, White's career took on a similarly restless shape. Few players in the league have worn as many different shirts in as short a time: she has represented Gotham FC, Houston Dash, Angel City FC, Orlando Pride, San Diego Wave and Bay FC, moving on from each before settling for any real length of time. That sequence of transfers eventually brought her to Kansas City Current, where she now plays as a forward.

Her talent had already been noted at international level before any of those club moves. White was called up to the United States' youth set-ups, appearing for both the U-17 and U-20 national teams, an early sign of the ability that clubs across three countries would go on to pursue.
