About the player
Bamba arrived at SK Super Nova in March 2026, during the winter transfer window of the Latvian Virsliga. That loan had itself been a step away from Real Betis, where he had been developing with the Spanish club's reserve setup, Betis Deportivo Balompié, before leaving Spain in September 2025.
Born in Senegal, the forward operates across the front line, capable of playing as a centre-forward or on either wing, and he wears the number 9 shirt at his new club. He is right-footed. In Super Nova's lineups he appears simply as "Bamba", a nickname that has stuck alongside his full name, Amadou Samaté, on team sheets and in some player profiles.
