Bekkhan Shaizada

Bekkhan Shaizada has never played for another club. He came up through Ordabasy's youth academy and made his professional debut against Kairat, and has stayed with the Shymkent side ever since.

His time at the club has coincided with its best run in years. Shaizada was part of the squad that won the Kazakhstan Championship and lifted the Kazakhstan Cup, and he also collected a bronze medal earlier in his career. That sequence of success has run alongside his own progress from academy product.

International recognition followed the domestic form. Shaizada worked his way up through Kazakhstan's youth sides, from the under-18s through to the under-21s, before earning his first senior caps, making his debut against Turkmenistan. Since then he has continued to add to his tally at senior level.

He remains, for now, a one-club goalkeeper — a rarer path in modern football, and one that has let him build his career entirely within a single system, from youth football through to continental and domestic competition with the first team.
