Danil Krugovoy

Danil Krugovoy came through Zenit's academy and made his mark early, playing 32 matches in the youth league for Zenit-2 in 2016/17. He moved to Ufa in 2018, and after a season split between appearances and a loan spell, Zenit brought him back in August 2019 for a reported €2 million.

He was twice named to the league's Top 33, and picked up the club's Player of the Month award in March 2022.

In January 2024, with his Zenit contract winding down, Krugovoy joined CSKA Moscow on a free transfer, signing through to 2028. He has since made 54 appearances for CSKA and added a Russian Cup and a Russian Super Cup to his collection, though he was an unused substitute in the Cup final penalty shootout against Rostov and was substituted in the 65th minute of the Super Cup win over Krasnodar. CSKA also finished as bronze medallists in the 2024/25 league campaign.

At international level, Krugovoy made his debut for Russia in September 2022 against Kyrgyzstan and has since gathered 14 caps without scoring, featuring regularly in the friendlies the national team has played against sides including Vietnam, Thailand, Nicaragua, Brunei and Nigeria during its period outside FIFA and UEFA competitions.
