D'Mani Lucell Bughail-Mellor

D'Mani Bughail-Mellor, who also plays as D'Mani Mellor, spent eleven years in one club's system before he had to look elsewhere. He joined the Manchester United academy in 2008, aged eight, and made his first-team debut in November 2019.

Senior football came mostly through loans. Salford City took him from August 2021 to January 2022, and he made three appearances there. United released him in the summer of 2022, and in July he signed for Wycombe Wanderers on a free transfer.

Across two years at Wycombe he played 13 times. His one goal for the club came in the EFL Cup. Much of that period was spent away from the club: he also had a loan at Sutton United from August 2023 to January 2024, where he made five league appearances. Wycombe released him in May 2024.

The next move did not last. In August 2024 he agreed a short-term deal with Gateshead, left the following month without playing a game for them, and on 5 September 2024 joined Macclesfield on a free transfer.

Bughail-Mellor is a right-footed player, 187 cm tall, and was born in Manchester. He holds Yemeni citizenship and is eligible for the Yemen national team, but he has not yet played for them or for any other national side, at senior or youth level.
