Edi Sylisufaj

Edi Sylisufaj was the first player born in the 21st century to appear in the Allsvenskan. He came on as a substitute for Falkenbergs FF on 23 October 2016, in a 2-1 defeat against Norrköping. He had joined the club's youth academy at the age of six.

The early appearance did not turn into a quick rise. He made 70 appearances for Falkenberg and scored 11 goals before leaving. His move to IK Sirius came in two steps: a loan in 2021, then a permanent transfer on a Bosman deal in January 2022. He scored 3 goals in 15 appearances on loan and 2 in 41 after the move became permanent.

He was loaned to Örgryte IS in both 2023 and 2024. He scored 11 goals in 26 appearances there.

On 28 July 2024 he joined Landskrona BoIS permanently on a contract running until December 2026. Every transfer of his career has been free. In the rest of the 2024 season he scored 5 goals in 13 Superettan matches and added one in the Svenska Cupen.

Sylisufaj holds Swedish and Kosovar nationality and has played for both at youth level. He won 3 caps for Sweden at under-17 level, making his debut in February 2017 against Norway. For Kosovo he has 2 caps at under-21 level, the first coming in October 2020 against Austria.
