About the player
Ensar Mušić joined the Rapid Wien academy in 2014 at the age of seven, having spent his first two years in organised football at FV Austria XIII, and worked his way through every age group at the Vienna club. He made his senior debut for Rapid Wien II on 17 September 2024 against Admira Wacker, coming on as a substitute in the 69th minute. Rapid Wien extended his contract to June 2027.
In the 2025/2026 season Mušić recorded 29 appearances in Austria's 2. Liga, scoring five goals and providing 12 assists.
His international path has taken a winding route. Mušić first represented Bosnia and Herzegovina at under-15 level, winning six caps and scoring once, before switching allegiance to Austria. He went on to earn seven caps for the Austria under-16s and 12 for the under-17s, scoring twice at the latter level, and played in all four of Austria's matches at the 2024 UEFA European Under-17 Championship, where the team was eliminated in the quarter-finals.
In June 2026, transfer speculation grew after Mušić posted a photo taken from an aeroplane on Instagram, which fuelled talk of a move to Hajduk Split in Croatia. His market value at the time was estimated at €350,000.
