Gavin Christopher Reilly

Gavin Reilly scored 22 goals in 44 appearances for St Mirren in 2017–18, the season the club won the Scottish Championship and went up to the Premiership. He joined on a free transfer and was named in the PFA Scotland Championship Team of the Year for it.

It was not his first time in that team. He had also been picked in 2014–15, in his last season at Queen of the South, the club he joined as a youth-academy player in 2005. He made his senior debut there in 2010 and was named the club's Player of the Year in 2010–11. He also won the Scottish Challenge Cup with Queen of the South in 2012–13. In the league he scored 39 goals in 111 appearances before leaving.

Between those two peaks came Heart of Midlothian, who signed him in 2015 for an undisclosed development fee. During his time there he spent a loan at Dunfermline Athletic in 2016–17 and then left for St Mirren.

After St Mirren he moved south to Bristol Rovers in 2018, again on a free transfer, and was loaned to Cheltenham Town in 2019–20. Spells at Carlisle United and Livingston followed, with a loan at Greenock Morton during his time at Livingston.

In 2022 he went back to Queen of the South and scored 14 goals in 47 league appearances in his second spell. In May 2024 he signed a two-year part-time deal with Arbroath. Alongside football he is doing an apprenticeship at Scottish Water. He has continued to score in the Scottish Championship for Arbroath.
