About the player
Joslyn Luyeye-Lutumba came through the youth ranks at HJK before moving on to KäPa and then FC Honka, making his senior debut with the reserve side, Honka II, in the Kakkonen during the 2020–2021 season. A free transfer to Mikkelin Palloilijat in 2022: over two seasons in the Ykkönen he made 57 appearances and scored 12 goals, and he signed with KuPS on a free transfer in November 2023 on a two-year deal with an option for a further year.
At KuPS he has made 109 appearances and scored 19 goals across the Veikkausliiga, the Finnish Cup, the Finnish League Cup and European competition. He has won the Veikkausliiga title in both 2024 and 2025 and lifted the Finnish Cup in 2024, though he also finished on the losing side in the Finnish Cup final in 2025 and in the Finnish League Cup final in 2024.
Right-footed and primarily deployed as a right winger, he can also play as a right midfielder or through the middle as a striker. He has yet to add senior caps for Finland to his record.
