Jefferson

Jefferson Nogueira Júnior started out at Figueirense, where he spent five years and won back-to-back Campeonato Catarinense titles in 2014 and 2015. Loan spells took him to Paulínia and, later, Fortaleza, where he finished runner-up in the Copa Fares Lopes in 2017.

His move abroad came in January 2018, when he joined Gaziantep FK and spent four seasons shuttling between the Süper Lig and the 1. Lig. A brief switch to Portugal followed in 2022, when Moreirense signed him for a spell in the Primeira Liga. That stint produced a brace that helped secure the club's survival, earning him PortuGOAL's Figure of the Week award in April 2022.

From there his path ran through Romania with Petrolul Ploiești, before a return to Turkey with Boluspor, who signed him in February 2024 on a deal to the end of that season. Every move since Gaziantep has come on a free transfer, a pattern that continued when he joined Vanspor FK in August 2025 on a one-year deal, again wearing the number 10 shirt.

Jefferson has not been capped at senior level for Brazil. He is also not to be confused with the Brazilian goalkeeper of the same first name, Jefferson de Oliveira Galvão, nor with the other footballers who share the name Jefferson.
