About the player
Jonas Bertheussen Weber came through the ranks in Tromsø, moving from Krokelvdalen IL to Reinen IL before joining Tromsdalen UIL's youth setup. He worked his way up through the club's reserve side before making his senior debut for Tromsdalen UIL, going on to make 45 appearances and score two goals for the first team. A loan spell at FK Senja brought him 15 appearances in the second half of that season.
At Tromsdalen, Weber established himself as a central defender comfortable playing either as a stopper or in a more conventional centre-back role. That profile carried him to IFK Norrköping, where he signed a long-term contract taking him through to the end of the 2029 season. The transfer fee was not disclosed.
Weber has not yet featured for Norway at senior international level.
