Julian Guttau

Julian Guttau made his senior debut for Hallescher FC in 2018 and spent four seasons there, making 106 appearances and scoring five goals before leaving the club. In his final season with Halle he lifted the Sachsen-Anhalt Cup, beating VfB Germania Halberstadt 2–0 in the final. He moved on a free transfer to SC Freiburg II in the summer of 2022, then to TSV 1860 Munich in June 2023, where he stayed until 2025 and made 71 appearances and scored 15 goals.

In the summer of 2025 Guttau signed for FC Erzgebirge Aue, again on a free transfer, putting pen to a contract that ran to June 2027. He made an immediate mark there, and on 3 May 2026 he scored a hat-trick as Aue won 5–3 away at FC Ingolstadt. Across the season he managed 26 appearances and eight goals for the club. Aue's relegation at the end of that campaign brought his spell in Saxony to an early close, and he left in June despite the contract still having a year to run. On 13 June 2026 he signed for FC Energie Cottbus, again as a free agent.

Every move of his senior career has come without a transfer fee. An attacking midfielder who operates off the left foot, Guttau has built a body of work almost entirely in the 3. Liga, where he has made 212 appearances, scoring 22 goals and setting up a further 28. He has not been capped by Germany at any level.
