About the player
Mladen Cvjetinović was born in Berlin and represents Bosnia and Herzegovina at youth international level. His football education came almost entirely in the German capital: he started at Grün-Weiß Neukölln before moving into Hertha BSC's academy, where he spent a decade developing as a defender.
He left Hertha for FC Viktoria 1889 Berlin, and it was there that he made the step up to senior football, going on to make 36 appearances for the club and winning the Berlin Cup along the way. A move to FC Ingolstadt 04 followed in 2023, and his time there proved to be his most productive spell yet, with 53 appearances and a Bavarian Cup triumph.
That run of games in Bavaria led to a switch to Holstein Kiel in July 2025, on a four-year contract. He is left-footed and built like a modern centre-back at 188cm.
