About the player
Marinus Due Grandt spent his formative years in Danish football before making the move that has defined his career so far.
Grandt started out at Hillerød GI before joining the academy at FC Nordsjælland, then moved on to Akademisk Boldklub. It was at Hillerød Fodbold, however, where he settled and did the bulk of his development, joining on a free transfer. Across that spell he made 116 league appearances and scored seven goals, splitting his time between the Danish 1st and 2nd Divisions.
His move to Östers IF, again on a free transfer, took him into the Swedish Superettan and represented his first step outside Danish football.
There is no record of Grandt having represented Denmark at any youth or senior international level, and his career to date has not brought individual honours.
