About the player
Omari Glasgow scored in his first match for Guyana. He was 17 when he made his senior debut against the Bahamas on 30 March 2021, and the goal that day was his first for the national team.
He has kept scoring for his country. In November 2024 he overtook Nigel Codrington, and he now holds Guyana's record for both caps (39) and goals (23). In the 2023–24 CONCACAF Nations League B he won the top scorer award and the best young player award.
His club career began at home. He started at Buxton United in 2019 and also played for Fruta Conquerors, then moved to Western Tigers. In March 2022 he signed for Chicago Fire FC II on a free transfer, which took him to the United States.
The next step came in May 2024, when he made his MLS debut for Chicago Fire. That December the club made his move permanent. His time there has since included three loan spells: Loudoun United in August 2025, Slingerz FC in December 2025 and Monterey Bay FC in February 2026.
Glasgow plays on the right side of midfield.
