About the player
Oğuzhan Ayaydın's path to professional football ran through Turkey's regional leagues rather than a big-city academy. Born in Trabzon, he came up through Araklı 1961 and 1461 Trabzon before joining Yomraspor, where he made his senior debut in 2020 with two appearances in the Turkish Cup. From there he moved inland to Kastamonu Özel İdare Köy Hizmetleri, spending two seasons in the Regional Amateur League and building a record of 61 matches and six goals.
The step up came with Somaspor in the 2023–2024 season, where he featured 32 times and scored twice in the TFF Second League, enough to catch the eye of Ankara Keçiörengücü, who signed him on a four-year deal in August 2024. His first season at the club brought 22 appearances and three goals. For 2025–2026 he has been sent out on loan to Sincan Belediyesi Ankaraspor, where he has already made 23 appearances, continuing to accumulate senior minutes away from his parent club.
Ayaydın's market value was estimated at €75,000 in March 2025. He has not been capped by Turkey at any level, senior or youth, and his development has instead been built match by match through the amateur and lower professional divisions.
