About the player
Silas Prüfrock grew up at FC Eilenburg before joining RB Leipzig's academy in 2014, spending time in the club's youth and reserve system and working through the U15, U17 and U19 age groups, with a spell for RB Leipzig II along the way. That long apprenticeship ended with a move to SpVgg Greuther Fürth, where he started out with the reserve side in the Regionalliga Bayern before being promoted into the senior squad for the 2. Bundesliga campaign.
The step up brought recognition beyond club level. In March 2026, Prüfrock received his first call-up to Germany's U20 squad, earning his first cap at that level for the DFB.
