About the player
In March 2017 Eriksson returned to Uppsala to join IK Uppsala Fotboll, a club that had only just been formed. The move took the defender away from Hammarby IF DFF, where she had been registered since 2015. It was a return to a city she already knew, this time as part of a new project rather than an established one.
Her career began at IK Sirius, where she played until 2014. Hammarby IF DFF followed in 2015, and she stayed there until the switch to Uppsala two years later. She did not stay long at the new club. In 2018 she moved on to AIK Fotboll.
Eriksson can play in the centre of defence or at full-back, and her clubs have been able to use her in either role. That range suits a player who has changed teams several times and has had to fit into different back lines.
At international level she has represented Sweden at under-23 level and won two caps. She now plays for Uppsala Women.
