Timothy Emeka Iroegbunam

Tim Iroegbunam came through the West Bromwich Albion academy, which he had joined in 2009 after starting out at Sutton United. He left for Aston Villa in July 2021 and made his senior debut for the club the following February. A loan spell at Queens Park Rangers in the 2022–2023 season established him at Championship level, where he made 32 league appearances and scored twice.

That season also brought recognition with England's youth sides. Iroegbunam was part of the England under-19 squad that won the 2022 UEFA European Under-19 Championship, coming on as a substitute in the final against Israel. He went on to earn seven caps for the under-20s, adding to six at under-19 level, and picked up an individual award for his displays in the FA Youth Cup during his time in Aston Villa's academy. He remains eligible to represent Nigeria through his parents.

Everton signed him from Aston Villa in June 2024 for a fee of around £9 million, and he put pen to paper on a three-year contract at Goodison Park. In September 2026 he moved on again, joining Hull City on a five-year deal, with an initial fee of £13 million that could rise to £22 million with add-ons.
