About the player
Tristan Osmani returned to Vienna without a first-team appearance in Germany, but with a senior contract and a full season of Regionalliga football behind him.
His football started at Simmeringer SC. He then moved to the academy of SK Rapid Wien, where he came through the age groups up to the U18 and U19 sides. In July 2021 he left for Schalke 04 on a free transfer and worked his way through the club's U17 and U19 teams. In May 2024 he signed his first professional contract.
The 2024/25 season was his first with the senior squad. He did not play in the Bundesliga or the DFB-Pokal, and his games came for Schalke 04 II in the Regionalliga West. He played more than 25 matches there and scored twice.
On 2 September 2025 he joined Floridsdorfer AC, again on a free transfer. In the 2. Liga he has played seven matches, scored twice and set up one goal, working as an attacking midfielder and using his left foot.
Osmani has also played for Austria at several youth levels and has 17 caps without a goal. Two came at U15 in 2019, four at U17 between 2021 and 2022, four at U18 in 2022 and six at U19 across 2023 and 2024. His single U21 appearance was his debut, in March 2023.
