About the player
Ture Sandberg started out at Svärtinge SK, close to home, and made his senior debut there in 2020 at just 15, in Division 4. He moved into IFK Norrköping's academy in 2021 and took his first steps with the senior side two years later, making his Allsvenskan debut against AIK in April 2023 as a central midfielder.
That breakthrough came alongside spells out on loan. He spent time with partner club IF Sylvia in both 2023 and 2024, while also featuring for Norrköping's first team — three appearances in 2023, then twelve league games and a goal in 2024. In 2025, he was on loan at GIF Sundsvall in the Superettan, where he made 24 league appearances and scored three goals, plus a goal in the Svenska Cupen. That loan ran until the end of December 2025, after which he returned to Norrköping.
He extended his contract in March 2025 to keep him tied down into 2028. Internationally, Sandberg has represented Sweden at youth level, with three caps for the under-19s across qualifying and friendly fixtures, and two further appearances for the under-20s.
He now wears the number 38 shirt back at IFK Norrköping.
