Berkhamsted

When Berkhamsted Town folded in January 2009 under outstanding debts, it was the supporters who put a new club together, taking the name Berkhamsted F.C. and keeping the nickname "The Comrades" — a line back to Berkhamsted Comrades, the club ex-servicemen had formed in 1919 before it became Berkhamsted Town in 1922.

Berkhamsted F.C. climbed: Division Two of the Spartan South Midlands League in its first season, Division One the year after, the second promotion coming with the Stanley Rous Memorial Trophy for the best points total anywhere in the National League System that season. Relegation from the Southern League Premier Division Central in 2023–24 followed a title in Division One Central, in a season that also brought the Hertfordshire Senior Cup, a trophy no Step 4 club had won in its 130-year history before Berkhamsted did.

Home games are played at Broadwater, known locally as the Glencar Community Stadium, with Leverstock Green and Kings Langley making up the rest of the local rivalry.

Runners-up in Division One Central, Berkhamsted won the play-offs against Hadley and Flackwell Heath to go back up, and they now start 2025–26 in the Southern League Premier Division South.
