Clube 1992

There is no table to speak of yet, no rival with a name attached, just a young institution finding its feet in Rio Grande do Sul's lower divisions.

The name traces back to a birth year rather than a founding date. Clube 1992 was registered in March 2020, and 1992 is the year its founder, Adriano Strack, was born. Strack had played professionally, including a spell at Grêmio, before returning to Carazinho to build something of his own; he now serves as the club's president, coach and player.

Matches are played at Campo do Glória, a ground holding around 1,000 people that has had more than R$100,000 put into revitalising it, even as a new stadium takes shape on the ERS 142 highway. Carazinho already has its own football rivalry, between G.A. Glória and Veterano, and its own football history in clubs that no longer exist.

Black and white are the colours players have worn to trials, the closest thing the club has to an official identity so far.

Adriano Strack remains the one name attached to all of it: the player-coach-president whose birth year gave the club its name.
