Dubrava Zagreb

Josip Juranović came through the Dubrava academy between 2004 and 2013 before a career that carried him through Hajduk Split, Legia Warsaw, Celtic and Union Berlin, and into a regular starting berth at right-back for Croatia since 2017, including appearances at Euro 2020, the 2022 World Cup and Euro 2024.

On the pitch itself, Dubrava's high point came in 1992–93, when the club won Druga HNL (North) and earned a single season in the Prva HNL. It lasted one year: Dubrava finished 17th of eighteen teams in 1993–94 and dropped back down. The rest of the honours board is built from regional silverware — Zagreb Zone titles stretching from the late 1940s through 1980, the Zagrebačka liga twice in the 1950s and 60s, and a 4. HNL title in 2010–11 that marked a smaller peak. Twice, in 1994–95 and again in 2022–23, the club reached the Round of 16 of the Croatian Cup.

Home games are played at ŠRC Grana-Klaka in the Dubrava district, a ground holding around a thousand people, tucked into the part of Zagreb that gave the club its name.
